The Baltimore Chef Shop is a little gem tucked away in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore, MD. It offers a number of classes each week where folks can learn to cook and bake. The class options are varied and include pasta-making, Thai cuisine, puff pastry, macarons…the list goes on.
My first class was the Puff Pastry class. On the menu was:
Apple Tarte Tatin
Puff Pastry Pear Tart
Our base was a butter puff pastry dough.
Next up was the Pasta class. Here we learned to make a simple pasta–certainly a labor of love and one I’m not sure I could do on a regular basis in my own home!
My third class was Classic French Desserts. The menu included:

I decided to conquer my fear of chocolate work with the Mastering the Art of Chocolate class. How beautiful are these? Menu included:

Last but not least, my most recent class was the Brunch: Vegetarian! class during which we made:
